I got the nicest message on Ravelry from an amazing fellow yarn bomber. She is known as the Phantom Knitter in her local area (isn't that the coolest alias?) and you should really check out her Flickr stream.
Here's a few examples of her work which has really inspired me to start bombing Copenhagen with ladybugs and bees ;) And I just think the knitted lifebelt is such an original idea - maybe the harbour in Copenhagen needs a few of those?
CPH Yarn Bombers
I want to celebrate yarn bombing and yarn graffiti. I believe that a woolly world is a more happy world.

My first yarn graffiti
I just did my first rebellious act - making a yarn graffiti on a drainpipe. It is made with orange and pink acrylic neon yarn and I've tagged it with YARN REBEL. I took the photo while the light was fading, but I hope to get a better pic tomorrow - if it's still there.

Novice yarn bomber
I am a novice yarn bomber and therefore I have not got any pictures to show you yet.
However, it is my intention to start making Copenhagen a more woolly place and that is why I have set up this blog.
I also want you to interact with me - so I would be happy if you would send me pictures of your projects. I will then publish them on the blog (full credit given - of course). Also, if you have an idea for a larger project or if you know of a place that really, really, really needs a knitted (or crocheted) facelift, knit me a mail and we'll work on it together.
Let the yarn rebel revolution begin...happy knitting.
